Beasiswa Terbaru Indonesia 2010 Departemen Perindustrian

Berdasarkan Peraturan Menteri Perindustrian R.I. Nomor 19/M-IND/PER/
2/2007 tentang Penyelenggaraan Program Beasiswa Tenaga Penyuluh Lapangan Industri Kecil dan Menengah, bahwa dalam rangka mempercepat pertumbuhan Industri Kecil dan Menengah di Propinsi dan kabupaten/Kota perlu mempersiapkan Tenaga penyuluh Lapangan Industri Kecil dan Menengah (IKM) melalui Program Beasiswa pada Unit
Pendidikan di Lingkungan Departemen Perindustrian.

Sehubungan dengan hal tersebut Departemen Perindustrian akan memberikan kesempatan kepada siswa-siswi berprestasi tingkat Sekolah Menengah Tingkat Atas (SMA/MA/SMK) yang tidak mampu pada Pemerintah Propinsi dan Kabupaten/Kota diprioritaskan untuk daerah tertinggal, daerah terpencil, daerah perbatasan, Pasca bencana, Pasca konflik, dan daerah pemekaran, untuk disekolahkan pada Unit Pendidikan di Lingkungan Departemen Perindustrian dengan Program Beasiswa Calon

Schlumberger Cambridge PhD Scholarships 2011 in Technological and Scientific Subjects

The scholarships are offered in collaboration with Schlumberger Cambridge Research Limited and are intended for students from developing countries who are pursuing courses of research leading to the degree of PhD at University of Cambridge.

Scholarship value/inclusions:

The scholarship will normally cover up to:

  • the University Composition Fee at the appropriate rate
  • approved College fees
  • a maintenance allowance sufficient for a single student

Eligibility:

Applicants must be from a developing country and must be admitted to Cambridge through the University’s normal academic procedures. They must apply to a PhD research programme in technological and scientific subjects offered at the University.

He/she must have a first class or high second class honours degree, or its equivalent, from a recognised university. Those who are not native speakers of English are required by the Board of Graduate Studies to provide the results of an English language test and to meet the minimum standard of proficiency required for admission to Cambridge (see ‘Entry requirements‘)

Application instructions:

First submit the on-line GRADSAF form at least two weeks before the course deadline and then submit the hard copy supporting documents so they arrive in Cambridge no later than the course deadline. For non-UK students, your GRADSAF is also your application to the Cambridge Trusts if you are made an offer to study.

Students CAN apply for funding before securing an offer of study and indeed most students apply for admission and apply for funding concurrently. All candidates are advised to apply as early as possible after the opening date of 1 September 2010 for admission and funding. Applications are accepted until 15 December 2010

Taiwan Scholarship information

The new prospectus for fall 2010, including admission and scholarship application, is available now for download at http://ciae.asia.edu.tw/appapp/index4.php. The information has been announced as well at http://ciae.asia.edu.tw. Please note that application should be submitted by the end of May. The required materials for admission application are as follows:

1. Two application forms attached with a 2-inch recent photo.

2. One copy of the highest-level diploma (enclosed with a Chinese or an English translation of the diploma).

3. One official transcript (in English or Chinese) from the school you have attended.

4. Two letters of recommendation.

5. One study plan

6. One health certificate issued within the last six months (attached HIV certification).

7. One copy of passport.

8. An original bank statement issued within six months clearly stating a balance.

9. The receipt of application fee US$20.

10. English or Chinese proficiency certificate

Asia University offers degree programs conducted in either English or Chinese. Applicants selecting programs taught in Chinese must submit Chinese proficiency certificate; whereas English proficiency certificate must be provided if applicants select programs taught in English. Language proficiency is necessary to demonstrate adequate listening, reading, speaking, and writing ability at a certain level for university academic pursuit. A minimum score of paper-based TOEFL 450 or equivalent is required; whereas HSK Level 6 or equivalent is the minimum level in Chinese proficiency. An exemption for English proficiency certificate may be granted if applicants have earned a diploma or degree in an English-speaking country. Applicants who have received admission should submit one copy of their diploma and transcript verified (with official stamp/seal) by Taiwan Embassy, Consulate, or Taipei Economic & Culture Office (TECO) located in the country in which applicants reside.

Students may apply for scholarships provided by Taiwan government, such as Taiwan scholarship. Detail information can be found at http://english.moe.gov.tw. Moreover, Asia University provides a limited number of scholarships each year for talented students from other countries. All applicants may have an opportunity to compete for scholarship provided by Asia University, depending on the qualification of applicants, program admitted, and funding available. Applicants who have received other scholarships are not eligible to apply.

Ÿ Taiwan Scholarship offers monthly stipend of NT$30,000 (approximately US$882). After receiving an admission letter from Asia University, completed documents must be sent by the end of March to the nearest Taiwan Embassy or Representative Office located in the country that applicants reside.

Ÿ Full Scholarship includes tuition waiver, dormitory fee waiver, and monthly stipend of NT$6,000 (approximately US$176).

Ÿ Tuition Waiver Scholarship offers full tuition waiver.

Ÿ Half-Tuition Waiver Scholarship offers 50% tuition waiver.

To apply for scholarship provided by Asia University, a completed form with all required application materials must be sent to the Center for International Academic Exchange. Awarded students in Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctoral programs are supported for at most four, two, and three years, respectively. An average score of less than 75 and 80 in previous academic year for undergraduate and graduate students, respectively, will result in disqualification of receiving scholarship. Tuition waiver includes student safety insurance, computer and internet fee, and English listening classroom fee.

Informasi Umum

Program Beasiswa Astro Kasih Gelar Sarjana (S1) Dalam Negeri Bidang Studi Sains dan Non-Sains

Astro – Sampoerna Foundation (ASTRO – SF) menyediakan program beasiswa bagi 40 (empat puluh) anak muda Indonesia yang tidak mampu secara ekonomi namun menunjukkan prestasi akademis yang cemerlang, profesional, memiliki kepribadian yang terpuji dan jiwa kepemimpinan yang tinggi untuk menempuh pendidikan sarjana di bidang Sains dan Non- Sains, (tidak termasuk Fakultas Kedokteran Umum, Hewan dan Gigi) pada universitas-universitas dalam negeri yang direkomendasikan oleh ASTRO – SF untuk jangka waktu yang tidak lebih dari 4 (empat) tahun.

SYARAT-SYARAT PEMBERIAN BEASISWA

Informasi yang dimuat dalam dokumen ini ditujukan untuk Program Beasiswa Gelar Sarjana (S1) Dalam Negeri hanya untuk para siswa yang diterima pada tahun akademis 2010/ 2011

I. Persyaratan Dasar

Pendaftar harus memenuhi SELURUH persyaratan berikut ini:

* Warga Negara Indonesia pemegang Kartu Tanda Penduduk Bali.
* Usia tidak lebih dari 20 tahun pada bulan Juli 2010
* Harus dapat membuktikan kebutuhan tunjangan keuangan untuk melanjutkan sekolah, berdasarkan surat keterangan tidak mampu dan fotokopi tagihan listrik rumah.
* Memiliki nilai akademik rata-rata 7.00 selama masa SMA (semester satu sampai semester enam).
* Pada saat pengajuan lamaran beasiswa, tidak sedang kuliah di universitas manapun dan tidak sedang menerima beasiswa dari organisasi/institusi manapun.
* Terdaftar sebagai mahasiswa tingkat I pada salah satu Universitas Negeri yang direkomendasikan

II. Kondisi Pemberian Beasiswa

1. Beasiswa penuh yang diberikan mencakup hal-hal sebagai berikut:
(i). Biaya pendaftaran ke universitas dimana pendaftar telah diterima.
(ii). Biaya pendidikan, sesuai dengan yang ditentukan oleh universitas dimana pendaftar telah di terima.
(iii). Uang saku, untuk mendukung biaya hidup selama masa kuliah.
(iv). Tunjangan buku, untuk membeli buku teks yang dibutuhkan selama kuliah.
(v). Tunjangan internet, agar siswa dapat memperoleh akses internet untuk keperluan pendidikan.
(vi). Tunjangan penelitian, untuk mendanai penelitian yang dilakukan pada masa akhir kuliah.
2. Beasiswa hanya diberikan untuk pendidikan dalam kelas reguler.
3. Penerima beasiswa tidak boleh bekerja sebagai pegawai tetap selama masa studi.
4. Beasiswa tidak akan diberikan kepada calon penerima beasiswa yang sedang menerima beasiswa lainnya atau beasiswa akan dihentikan apabila penerima beasiswa ASTRO - SF mendapatkan beasiswa lainnya.
5. Apabila ASTRO – SF menyediakan sarana tempat tinggal (asrama) untuk penerima beasiswa, maka penerima beasiswa wajib untuk tinggal di sarana tersebut selama masa studi.

III. Pembayaran Dana Beasiswa

1. Biaya pendidikan akan dibayarkan secara langsung kepada penerima beasiswa dengan mekanisme penggantian dana yang telah dibayarkan terlebih dahulu kepada Universitas oleh Penerima Beasiswa.
2. Dana lainnya akan dibayarkan kepada penerima beasiswa dan hanya akan dibayarkan apabila siswa telah memenuhi kewajiban dan tanggung-jawab akademis dan non-akademis secara memuaskan pada semester sebelumnya.

IV. Masa Pemberian Beasiswa

1. Beasiswa diberikan untuk jangka waktu yang tidak melebihi 4 (empat) tahun atau setara dengan 8 (delapan) semester akademis atau kurang dari itu, bergantung dari program yang dipilih. Beasiswa tidak dapat diperpanjang.
2. Apabila penerima beasiswa tidak dapat menyelesaikan pendidikannya dalam kurun waktu yang ditetapkan, ia tetap berhak untuk melanjutkan pendidikan. Namun demikian, ASTRO - SF tidak berkewajiban untuk memberikan bantuan pendanaan lebih lanjut atau bantuan lainnya.
3. Keberlanjutan pemberian beasiswa bergantung pada kemampuan penerima beasiswa untuk mencapai prestasi akademis dan kemajuan non akademis yang memuaskan.

V. Cuti dari Sekolah

1. Penerima beasiswa tidak berhak untuk menghentikan kegiatan pendidikan kecuali untuk liburan sekolah yang telah dijadwalkan oleh universitas.
2. Apabila, karena suatu keadaan yang luar biasa, penerima beasiswa terpaksa mempergunakan hak cuti dari universitas selain untuk alasan-alasan yang disebutkan di atas, mereka harus memperoleh persetujuan tertulis resmi dari universitas dan ASTRO – SF.

VI. Ikatan Kerja

ASTRO – SF tidak mewajibkan penerima beasiswa untuk bekerja bagi ASTRO - SF atau para pihak yang terafiliasi dengannya atau organisasi pendukungnya, dan tidak memiliki kewajiban apa pun untuk mempekerjakan atau mencarikan pekerjaan untuk penerima beasiswa.

VII. Sanksi-sanksi

1. ASTRO – SF akan mengenakan sanksi untuk setiap pelanggaran terhadap syarat-syarat pemberian beasiswa, termasuk namun tidak terbatas pada pencapaian prestasi akademis dan partisipasi dalam kegiatan-kegiatan wajib. Sanksi dapat berbentuk penghentian sementara pemberian dana beasiswa, diperpendeknya masa pemberian beasiswa atau pengakhiran pemberian dana beasiswa.
2. Sekiranya penerima beasiswa memutuskan untuk mengundurkan diri dari program beasiswa, dana yang telah dikeluarkan oleh ASTRO – SF selama pelaksanaan program beasiswa tersebut harus dilunasi oleh penerima beasiswa.

VIII. Pengakhiran Beasiswa

1. Program Beasiswa akan berakhir apabila seorang penerima beasiswa tidak lagi terdaftar sebagai siswa:
* Pada saat universitas menerbitkan transkrip yang menunjukkan bahwa siswa telah menyelesaikan pendidikannya; atau
* Pada saat penerima beasiswa terpaksa mengundurkan diri atau tidak dapat melanjutkan pendidikannya karena penyakit yang dideritanya atau karena alasan lain.
2. Beasiswa akan segera diakhiri, apabila:
* Penerima beasiswa tidak dapat memenuhi kewajiban-kewajibannya, atau gagal untuk mencapai prestasi akademis yang dipersyaratkan;
* Penerima beasiswa terbukti telah memalsukan informasi yang dimuat dalam formulir pendaftarannya atau dalam dokumen yang terlampir; atau,
* Penerima beasiswa telah dikeluarkan dari program studinya atau dikeluarkan dari universitas apapun alasannya; atau
* Penerima beasiswa terlibat dalam kegiatan ilegal, misalnya penyalahgunaan dan pengedaran obat-obatan terlarang atau bentuk kegiatan kriminal lainnya.

IX. Tugas dan Kewajiban Lainnya

1. Penerima beasiswa harus bersedia untuk mematuhi aturan-aturan dan peraturan-peraturan yang diberlakukan oleh ASTRO – SF serta yang diberlakukan oleh universitas.
2. Penerima beasiswa harus berpartisipasi secara aktif dalam program pengembangan kepribadian yang dirancang oleh ASTRO – SF, seperti:
* Kegiatan sosial, yang akan diselenggarakan dan dijalankan bersama dengan para penerima beasiswa lainnya dalam daerah yang bersangkutan.
* Program orientasi, yang akan membantu penerima beasiswa untuk lebih memahami visi dan misi ASTRO – SF.
3. Selama masa pendidikan, penerima beasiswa diwajibkan tetap melakukan korespondensi secara reguler dengan ASTRO – SF untuk melaporkan kemajuan yang telah dicapainya di bidang akademis dan non akademis.
4. Setelah menyelesaikan pendidikannya, penerima beasiswa diharapkan untuk bergabung dengan Ikatan Alumni SF dan berpartisipasi dalam program-program dan kegiatan-kegiatannya.

Scholarships at Mechanical, Aerospace and Biomedical Engineering Department at The University of Tennessee

The Mechanical, Aerospace and Biomedical Engineering Department at The University of Tennessee, Knoxville, has one graduate research assistantship available, at the Ph.D. level, starting Fall 2010.

Our lab works on systems biology, infectious diseases, nonlinear dynamics, control and complex systems. The student will work on an NSF funded project on Nonlinear Dynamics in Biological Systems. Prior experiences in computational biology, nonlinear dynamics and control are highly desirable.

The University of Tennessee offers a diverse and nurturing graduate training environment. The position comes with an annual stipend, full tuition waiver and benefits package, including health insurance.

THE GOVERNMENT SCHOLARSHIPS OF THE REPUBLIC OF TURKEY

If there is no special note in bilateral agreements; Turkish Government offers scholarships for Undergraduate and Graduate (Master/PhD) studies, as well as for Research and Turkish Language Summer Courses under the following conditions:

1- Scholarship notifications are announced through diplomatic channels. Candidates should apply to the authorized bodies of their own countries or to the Turkish Embassies/Consulates in their respective countries.

2- Candidate is selected by the related country or Republic of Turkey by the foreign representatives. Commission also selects one reserve candidate for a quota of five, two reserve candidates for a quota of six or more.

3- Documents of candidates for undergraduate, graduate and research scholarships should be submitted to the Turkish Ministry of National Education through diplomatic channels before 30th June and the documents of candidates for Turkish Language Summer Course scholarships before 30th April same way. Applications with missing documents or applications received later than the above mentioned dates will not be taken into account.

4- Turkish Ministry of National Education examines and evaluates the documents and selects the candidate/s. Selected candidates are invited through diplomatic channels.

5- Candidates of undergraduate and graduate scholarships should obtain a visa of �ducation�and the candidates of research scholarships should obtain a visa of �esearch (holder of MoNE scholarship)�from the Turkish Embassies/Consulates in their respective countries. Candidates of Turkish Language Summer Courses scholarships can attend a two-month TÖMER course with a tourist visa.

6- Candidates should be at the address on the invitation letter and bring the application letter and the originals of the diplomas with them. They should cover their own travel expenses.

7- Candidate registers to the educational institution that he/she is accepted and applies for the scholarship. With the official school registration and scholarship documents he/she applies for �orms�and �esidence permit� Invitation letter includes necessary information.

8- Student should apply for the extension of residence permit one month prior to its deadline. Extension of the residence permit is under student� responsibility.

9- Undergraduate and graduate students attend Turkish Courses at TÖMER for 1 year. In order to be enrolled to the universities, students should obtain a �igh�level of TÖMER Diploma.

10- Before making their choices, applicants have to inquire about the universities�conditions of acceptance and registration. Some universities require students to attend a one-year preparatory class and take
a final exam. After completing the placement process for a university, requests for university changes are not regarded.

11- Applications for Medical Specialty studies are unacceptable. However, candidates can take exams for Medical Specialty studies on their own efforts.

12- Research programs are open to those who want to make a scientific research in his/her particular subject area in a university. Research duration is between 2-8 months.

13- Turkish Language Summer Courses are organized in Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir, Bursa, Kayseri, Antalya and Samsun. Applicants can choose three provinces among them. Courses are not organized in provinces that have no adequate number of applicants. Course dates are from July 1st to August 31st.

14- School fees, dorm fees and medical treatment expenditures (excluding long term illnesses, serious surgical operations, prosthesis, jaw orthopaedics, orthodontics and teeth prosthesis) are paid by the Turkish Government.

15- Monthly payment for graduate studies, research or Turkish Language Summer Course is TL 220, and TL 195 for undergraduate studies. Travel expenses and cost of meals are to be covered by the student.

16- Academic year begins in September. Candidate invited has to register educational institution until 30th of October at the latest.

17- If a student cannot graduate in normal school time he/she is given maximum a 2 year extra time. If a student cannot graduate in that extra time, his/her scholarship will be cancelled.

18- It is assumed that the student accepts the conditions of the educational institution and the conditions of the hostel and the conditions of the scholarship that takes place in this document.

II) ELIGIBILITY FOR SCHOLARSHIPS

  • Applicants should not be a citizen of the Republic of Turkey or hold a dual nationality (Turkish and any other country� nationality).
  • Undergraduate candidates should have a �ood�level of a high school graduation degree. The high school which was graduated from should be equivalent to the high schools in Turkey. Candidates should not have suspended education more than 2 years after graduation and not be older than 25 years on the date of application.
  • Candidates for graduate studies (Master/PhD) should be a graduate of a 4-year university and not be older than 40 years on the date of application.

  • Research candidates should be a graduate of a 4-year university and have a good level of Turkish, English or French.
  • Candidates for the Turkish Language Summer Courses should be a university student or a graduate student.
  • Candidates should not be infected with a contagious disease (HIV, Hepatitis-C and etc) or should not have a disease preventing his/her education in Turkey.

III) DOCUMENTS REQUIRED

Bachelor� Degree Applicants

  • Scholarship Application Form (should be filled out legibly and presented with a passport-size photo attached)
  • Two photocopies of diploma (the original diploma should be brought to Turkey if accepted to the scholarship program)
  • Two photocopies of the transcript
  • Health report
  • One passport-size photograph
  • Photocopy of the page in passport that carry your photograph and any other pages that are filled in or stamped officially.
  • TÖMER diploma (if there is)
  • Documents numbered 2, 3 and 4 shall either be in English or Turkish or French. Documents issued in another language should be translated into one of these three languages.
  • Photocopies and translations of documents shall be validated by overseas Embassies/Consulates of the Republic of Turkey.

Master�/ Doctor� Degree Applicants

  • Two photocopies of Scholarship Application Form (each copies should be filled out legibly and be presented with a passport-size photo attached)
  • Two photocopies of diploma (the original diploma should be brought to Turkey if accepted to the scholarship program)
  • Two photocopies of the transcript
  • Two photocopies of Curriculum Vitae
  • Two Letters of Recommendation (from two Professors)
  • Health report
  • One passport-size photograph
  • Photocopy of the page in passport that carry your photograph and any other pages that are filled in or stamped officially.
  • TÖMER diploma (if there is)
