The new course will provide systematic education on energy and opportunities for research on energy technologies and energy systems specific to the north Japan region, where affluent renewable energy exists. The students will develop skills and ability to contribute to realizing future clean and smart energy systems as well as ability to think about energy issues from both local and global viewpoints.
