*PHD STUDENTSHIPS IN DATA SCIENCE FOR INTELLIGENT TRANSPORTATION SYSTEMS AT THE DEUSTOTECH MOBILITY LAB*
Deusto Institute of Technology (DeustoTech, http://www.deustotech.deusto.
The grants will have duration of 12 months and may be renewed yearly, up to a maximum of 36 consecutive months.
The exact amounts awarded will be established in the pre-doctoral call published by the Basque Government for the corresponding year. In the 2014/2015 academic year, the annual gross salary was 14,545.80€. The application is open to UE research applicants.
The PhD students will work on Data Science for Intelligent Transportation Systems. In particular, the candidate will be instructed in areas related with the management and integration of information coming from transport related sources (state of the road, vehicular communications,…) to generate estimations about the future state of the road, as well as to generate services that improves the vehicular flow.
Artificial intelligence, data mining and soft computing techniques will be the core of the processing of information in a Big Data environment, considering a multi-objective approach that manages both the quality and complexity of the models.
